Detail + care are the core values of Sponge Skincare. Originally formulated by a Greek physician to benefit his pregnant patients without impacting their unborn children, Sponge uses only the finest certified organically grown or wild-crafted herbs. In a unique, chemical-free extraction processed developed through 30 years of research, the essence and integrity of the plants, herbs and flowers are protected by boiling them to particular temperatures and times based upon their maturity and the region in Greece in which they were grown. This process retains the highest amount of nutrients and vitamins.

Sponge products are hand-blended and hypo-allergenic. Each cream has a base of first pressed, vitamin-rich, extra-virgin olive oil to promote firming, anti-oxidant and overall health benefits to the skin. The highest sustainable growing standards are upheld where Sponge’s plants, herbs, and flowers are nurtured and harvested. The company also has developed a method of testing products for safety and efficacy that is cruelty-free, which has been accepted by the Dermatological Society of Europe. Sponge uses only bio-degradable soy ink, 100% recyclable materials and, in the print practice, works exclusively with companies that are FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) Certified, the strictest in the industry.
